Though clearly a must have green in the 18th century the many suppliers who listed it did not always agree on the recipe. Most used green verditer rendering quite a blue green but others added varying yellows bringing it closer to the colour we associate with the vegetable. I have adopted this fresher hue – the type that brings the joy of the garden indoors. Nature is what we are constantly inspired by, our plant-based recipe is centered around protecting the planets’ finite resources. Pea Green is a great background for artwork, from pictures to textiles.
I wanted to let you know that I had finally been painting the billiard room with your paint, and I love your paint, the quality and the coverage, for years I had always said to my customers to use other premium paint brands but now I will suggest to use yours only, I am so impressed with how good your paint looks and how god the coverage is in two coats - amazing job compared to most paints. 90% of my jobs are old houses/period homes and I will definitely be using your paints from now on, I am a strong believer in natural paint, and the need of breathable paints for buildings, especially when they are over 100 yrs old.
