The lovely grey green shade of tea leaves is what gives the colour its name. Subtle though it is we need 5 pigments to nuance this beautiful shade. It is a confident wall colour but still deferential enough to compliment architectural features and make a sophisticated setting for other furnishings – for period work it works equally well in Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian houses. Here at Edward Bulmer Natural Paint, we make natural paints for period homes so the walls can maintain their breathability for the next 200 years.
Just wanted to say how delighted we are with the result with the Tea Green paint. We got back from a few days away to find our decorator had done a brilliant job and it is a perfect green for our timber-framed house! We would certainly use your paint again. It really has a lovely finish. So, a very satisfied customer indeed!

There are three reasons I chose Edward Bulmer Natural Paint. First and foremost the fantastic range of colours, from the historically authentic to the more contemporary, meant that there was something fitting for every room in my cottage. Secondly, the paint’s true ‘green’ credentials were important and led onto the third benefit that painters like working with it. …

I used your interior eggshell a couple of years ago and that was heaven to use too …
Malahide is a vibrant and warming colour. Paired with Jonquil it creates a bold but restful combination.
Just wanted to thank you. The paint is absolutely beautiful, amazing shade of pink. We all love it and even my husband who is not a big fan of pink…I think our daughter has the prettiest room in our house now.
‘The shade changes beautifully with the light and goes from more of a neutral to a very slight plaster pink, and feels elegant whilst giving the room depth. It’s always been important to me to try and soften the old gnarly features of the stone and beams which we have here so that it never …
