Eau de Nile

Some greens don’t require any blue or green pigments and this is one of them. This is basically yellow ochre under the influence of black with a touch of chrome yellow. What colours the waters of the Nile these days may not conjure up the romance of the name this colour was given all those years ago when the Nile was in the news as the scene of Nelson’s great victory! This is one of the best colours I have ever mixed for its versatility and timeless elegance.  Green is Edward’s favourite colour and we have more green’s than any other colour in our range, which is really quite appropriate for an environmentally friendly paint brand.

Eau de Nile is a best seller and so we now offer this colour in three lighter shades. 60%, 40% and 20% lighter shades, to cover the use of this beautiful colour throughout the home.

I just wanted to let you know that we have had our lounge painted in Eau de Nile and not only does it look stunning but the feedback from the decorator - who hasn't used your paint before - was so good I had to share it. He said it was 'a dream to paint with' and amazing quality (which not all paints within a similar price bracket do, he was at pains to add). I just wish I'd recorded him saying it because he couldn't have been more enthusiastic!

We have spent years perfecting our pioneering plant-based paints and we are proud of the product we have created using gentle chemistry and a lot of dedication to making a more sustainable paint! We believe we are pioneers in creating natural paints using plant-based ingredients instead of petrochemical derived products.

Unlike many other paint brands, what’s in our tins is on our tins! We declare all of our ingredients, read our full list of ingredients and learn more about how our paint is made.

We use our local courier service called APC which is based in Hereford.  APC operates franchises throughout the country and we can deliver parcels throughout the UK on an overnight service.

We are not able to offer returns, as all of our paint is mixed to order and therefore is a bespoke product.

Painting is going well – I absolutely love your colours!

Sarah Mazdon

I very deliberately picked a soft colour palette, Swedish blues, greys, lavender, ivory, mauve and used paints with a chalky, almost distemper-like quality, as they have a restful effect. Edward Bulmer has a lovely range ; we used the Duck Egg in our sitting room.

Diana Blanchard

I’ve been a decorator for 15 years now and this is by far the best paint I have ever used. From colour to pigment to finish, I will be recommending this to everyone! I look forward to using your products in the future, may your star continue to rise.

Ian Fleming

In my own home, I favour ‘Clove’ and have used it throughout my hall and stairway, it is a warm, versatile and elegant colour.

Hannah Lawrence

NO picture surfer here! I read every word of your book. Truly a standout among other Brit design books (a tough field).  Your personality, judgement and creativity really come through.  Thanks.
