Our Approach to Packaging No Bashes or Spills Getting paint safely from our Herefordshire HQ to your home requires robust packaging. Over the years, we’ve developed specially designed boxes and inserts that help protect our tins in transit without using more packaging than necessary. We continually review the materials we use and look for opportunities to reduce waste, increase recycled content and make our packaging easier to reuse or recycle. Below, you can find out more about the packaging your order may arrive in and what to do with it afterwards. Our Packaging Sample Pots Our 60ml Sample Pots come in reusable glass jars with aluminium lids. Once empty, clean and dry, the jars can be reused around the home or recycled according to your local collection guidance. Looking for ideas? Explore our guide to creative ways to reuse your Sample Pots. Colour Charts & Printed Materials Our Colour Charts and other printed materials are produced by local printers Orphans Press. They are printed on Revive 100 Silk, made from FSC® Recycled certified post-consumer waste pulp. Once you’ve finished with your Colour Chart, pass it on to a friend or family member, or recycle it according to your local collection guidance. Sample Pot Boxes Our Sample Pot boxes are made from recycled cardboard and can be reused or recycled once they’re no longer needed. Moulded Pulp Inserts The moulded pulp inserts used to protect our paint tins are made from 100% recycled cardboard and can be recycled after use. Cardboard Delivery Boxes Our delivery boxes are made with 70% recycled cardboard. Reuse them where you can, or flatten and recycle them when you’re finished with them. What to Do with Your Packaging Where possible, we encourage you to reuse before recycling. Boxes, glass Sample Pot jars and other packaging can often be given another life before being disposed of. Recycling collections vary by area, so always check your local guidance before disposing of individual materials.
