Join us at The Colour Club

If there was ever a time for a little indulgence, love and colour in all our lives, now is certainly it. So we are launching a new initiative to inspire you with our beautiful natural colours and to enhance positivity in your home.

Time to get Crafty and Upcycle

Unexpected time at home has created a desire in some to be a little creative, or do a bit of upcycling and give new life to existing items.

We give to you: Our Christmas Advent

We are now readying ourselves for that ever important gift list to our friends and family – gifts to treasure or even gifts we just want to keep to ourselves…

Sustainable and Plastic-Free Children’s Toys

We are delighted that the design curators of PomPom found our natural paints to use on the latest edition to their collection of sustainable and plastic-free toys.

The Power of Natural Pigments: Issue 5

Beyond the sea, the literal meaning of Ultramarine, refers to the ancient trade in Lapis Lazuli from quarries in north eastern Afghanistan.

The Power of Natural Pigments: Issue 4

Discover again this month more about the natural earth and mineral pigments we use to create our colours which are far more sophisticated and subtle than synthetic AZO dyes used by most paint companies.

The Power of Natural Pigments: Issue 3

It’s all about the ‘not so mellow’ Chrome Yellow.  Discover its provenance and find out more about selecting the perfect yellows from our range.

The Power of Natural Pigments: Issue 2

Last month, to celebrate ‘Paint of the Decade’ and as part of our campaign to bring transparency to the paint market and to tell you how our paint is made we launched our pigment of the month.

The Power of Natural Pigments: Issue 1

Pigments make the colour; the better the pigment, the better the colour!

Through the Keyhole – House & Garden Festival 2018

Our decorated space at this year’s House & Garden Festival was all about collaboration.  Edward’s idea for the decorated space was to link old and new, at the physical juxtaposition between the Interiors Art & Antiques Fair and the House & Garden Festival.

How much paint do I need?

We have created this calculator to help you estimate the amount of paint you will need for your project. Please note that this is only an estimate, based on normal surfaces with two coats of paint.

Please check our practical painting advice - if you are painting onto a very absorbent surface, you may need more paint, and for best results, you may need to prime your surfaces.

If you end up with any leftover paint, get inspired with ways to use any excess paint - it's even compostable!

What are you painting?

Estimated
Painted Wall/Ceiling Area

Our natural matt emulsion is perfect for interior walls and ceilings.

0 litres

0 m2

This estimate is based on the dimensions of your room, minus the space taken by average doors and windows.

For this area, we suggest would be adequate.

Estimated
Woodwork Area

Our water based eggshell or gloss is ideal for woodwork or metalwork.

0 litres

0 m2

This estimate is based on skirting and the doors/windows you tell us about. 1 litre should cover 2-3 doors or 20m of skirting.

For this area, we suggest would be adequate.
