Who can resist the luminous glaze of the Chinese porcelain now universally known as Celadon? It is such a soft and subtle grey green shade and can really elevate a wall. It makes gilt frames dance and light woods breathe. It is a surprisingly simple recipe for yellow ochre, Prussian blue and a touch of black.
The Patent Yellow has worked brilliantly in the nursery and bathroom toning in so perfectly with the Turnell and Gigon wallpaper that I had used in our last house and we have had so many wonderful comments about the colours outside - the Green looks magnificent with the dark cream - and I am delighted with the choices in the kitchen/downstairs passageways…... I will send some photographs. Charles has done the drawing room in your duck egg blue and it looks stunning.
