The whitest minerals used in the past were lime and chalk which gave pure white paints when used with water to form lime wash and distemper. Soft distempers were commonly used for ceilings and would literally be washed off before repainting. Modern formulations with a plant-based binder and titanium dioxide allow us to achieve Pure White of these early paints but with the durability of emulsion and without the chemical bleaching process for mainstream brilliant white

We use our local courier service called APC which is based in Hereford. APC operates franchises throughout the country and we can deliver parcels throughout the UK on an overnight service.
We are not able to offer returns, as all of our paint is mixed to order and therefore is a bespoke product.
NB: We will accept returns of non bespoke products which include preparatory products.

The A5 colour samples were very useful and the paint is a real pleasure to apply – no smell and the lighter colour covers even the dark red walls very well with the first coat. Also very impressed with the bamboo brushes – certainly the best I have used.

To use this simple tool please add together the total wall lengths, so the parameter of the room which is the width measurement, then just one height measurement. This amount is based on coverage in 2 coats.
As a rough guide, 1 L of eggshell will cover 2-3 doors (both sides) and 1 L of eggshell will cover 20 metres of skirting board in min. 2 coats.
