Our Metal Primer is a water-based, solvent-free primer designed to protect interior and exterior iron and steel surfaces against rust. Made with a bio-based binder, it provides excellent adhesion and creates a durable foundation for our Water-Based Eggshell and Gloss finishes, helping to protect metalwork while ensuring a smooth, lasting finish.
Easy to apply, with good flow and minimal dripping, its low-VOC formulation offers a more considered approach to preparing metal surfaces for painting. Suitable for use on thoroughly cleaned and rust-free iron and steel, it can be applied by brush, roller or spray, with an additional coat recommended for exterior surfaces where required.
Available in reddish brown, in 375ml and 750ml sizes. See full technical data sheet here.
