Chatsworth’s original kitchen, once serving vast dinners for up to forty guests, survives today as the joiners’ shop. In William Henry Hunt’s view, its masonry and the simple ‘knocked-down’ joinery colour remain almost unchanged – a warm green mixed from cost-efficient earth pigments to withstand heavy use. It still gives just-right contrast to Burntwood stone without appearing too light.
How to style: A strong trim colour beside deeper walls, yet equally suited to being colour-drenched. As a neutral green it works well in halls and staircases and makes a smart choice for window frames and glazing bars.

Our Water Based Gloss is our highest satin product with an 80% sheen. This product is perfect for interior and exterior woodwork and metalwork with a durable finish. Sold in 1 and 2.5-litre tins.
