Nicaragua is inspired by the hardwoods imported from the West Indies and Central America that became highly prized by 18th-century cabinet makers for their stability and beautifully figured grain. Red dyes could also be extracted from these timbers, with the resulting colours often named after the countries where the trees grew. Nicaragua and Honduras both gave their names to purply pinks and reds, inspiring this deep, earthy pink. Rich without becoming overly sweet or fragrant, Nicaragua brings substantial colour to a room while retaining the natural character of its historic origins.

Our Water Based Eggshell has a satin finish with 20% sheen so still has a softness to it. Perfect for woodwork and metalwork this finish is easy to apply. Sold in 1 and 2.5-litre tins.
Our Water Based Gloss is our highest satin product with an 80% sheen. This product is perfect for interior and exterior woodwork and metalwork with a durable finish. Sold in 1 and 2.5-litre tins.
