Warm and exotic as the name sums up, this colour is based on turquoise mixed into white. Turkish and Turquiose long had the same meaning and the description was more often referring to the route by which gems and pigments were traded from Constantinople. It was based on Cobalt blue and was given a wonderful greenish lustre by ancient ‘alchemists’. A colour to gladden the heart with the feel of summer in far off lands! We offer tonal harmony for ultramodern interiors as well as period properties with our unique range of natural paints made only from natural pigments used by artists for centuries.
The quality of Edward Bulmer Natural Paints are second to none. The density of pigments in the colour is fantastic. This means that when you work with it, the coverage is thicker and you don’t need to paint the walls with so many coats, which saves time, which from my team’s point of view is great as we have fourteen showrooms to design and maintain!
