Colour Disclaimer While we take great care to represent our colours as accurately as possible, digital images and on-screen swatches can never fully capture the true character of paint. Colours may appear differently depending on screen type, brightness, resolution and lighting conditions, and screens are backlit in a way that painted surfaces are not. For this reason, colours viewed online should always be considered a guide only. We strongly recommend using our hand-painted colour charts, A5 colour cards or sample pots before making a final decision. These are created using our natural paint recipes and provide the most reliable indication of colour, depth and finish. Using Sample Pots Our natural paint sample pots are available in all colours across the Edward Bulmer Natural Paint range and are mixed with the same care and ingredients as our full-size paints. We recommend painting out your chosen colour onto a piece of paper, card or board and viewing it in situ at different times of day and under different lighting conditions. This allows you to see how the colour responds to both natural and artificial light, and how it sits alongside your fabrics, furnishings and architectural details. As with all natural paints, slight colour variations can occur. Colour appearance will also be influenced by surface texture, preparation and application method. Samples Disclaimer Our sample pots are made with natural ingredients and limited preservatives. For best results, we recommend using them within three months of delivery. Once opened, exposure to air may affect the paint over time, and we cannot accept responsibility for changes in consistency or performance after this period. Colour samples are provided in good faith as a guide only. As site conditions, application methods and lighting are beyond our control, we are unable to guarantee final colour results. This does not affect your statutory rights.
