Cuisse de Nymphe Emue is our bestselling dusky pink. A colour created by Edward Bulmer after visiting Petworth House and seeing a similar hue in the family rooms, he knew that it was a colour that would be popular and he was right! We believe its popularity is due to its warm tones and versatility. Cuisse is a colour that adds subtle romance without overwhelming a space, making it ideal for a wide range of rooms — from cosy bedrooms to elegant living areas. To be inspired by the joy of Cuisse, enjoy the pictures below and discover which room you might transform using our stunning pink. Cuisse de Nymphe Emue – there has been a real trend for pink interiors recently and despite there being a lot of pinks available, it is surprisingly difficult to find one which provides that hint of pink but is also manageable. This shade does just this and it is husband friendly!” Anonymous Bathroom Inspiration Credit: Emma Diaz Credit: Thyme England Credit: Carlos Garcia Interiors Order a Cuisse sample pot Kitchen Inspiration Credit: Philippa Jeffreys Art Photography: @82mmphotography Credit: Digital Renovators Credit: Mrs Alice Sitting Room Inspiration Credit: OKA Credit: Katie Wilkinson and Sean Begle Nursery Inspiration This pretty child’s nursery by Mel Weber Interior Design has used a 60% shade of Cuisse de Nypmhe Emue. This simply means that there is 60% of the ‘full colour’ by including slightly less pigment of the full colour. We do this by carefully reducing the pigment but without the tone migrating completely to become a different colour. Mel picked this colour as she felt it was perfect for a nursery but ageless too. It will still look beautiful as the room transforms to a child’s room and will appear elegant in the teenage years and beyond. The ubiquity of plastic in our houses and why we need to cut down Avoiding single use plastic is now accepted as common sense (though it is still not mandatory), but it is just the tip of the ‘plastic iceberg’ when it comes to our plastic addiction. So much of the plastic we buy now is unavoidable. Often this is because it makes up the packaging used to wrap and transport the goods we buy, and just as often it IS the goods we buy.
Colour is King: Edward Bulmer’s first interior design book In his very first book published by Rizzoli, The Colourful past: Edward Bulmer and the English Country House, Edward takes readers through the keyhole into his most memorable work in some of Britain’s finest buildings, including: Althorp, Princess Diana’s childhood home, the Prime Minister’s official country residence, Chequers, Goodwood and Pitshill House, as well as his own Queen Anne House in Herefordshire.
