Wash Stop - Natural Paint Colour | Edward Bulmer Natural Paint

Wash Stop

I admit to this being a made up name from an old painter’s bill charging to ‘wash, stop and paint three times in oil’. It seemed an enticing way to describe a colour like washing up water, given that it is actually an elegant, subtle grey, with a touch of lavendar, that can be used for walls or trim.

“When renovating and extending our house near Bath we put love and energy into every detail, from door handles, to floorboards and furniture to paintings. But the thing that made the biggest difference to creating the atmosphere of our dream home was the paint. Not only are the colours subtle and artistic, but the smell and chalky texture are part of the experience. We have a different colour in every room and these paints have defined the character of our house. We love them! and wouldn’t use anything else as they are truly sustainable and we know contain absolutely no nasty chemicals for us and our baby girl. “
