After discovering Edward Bulmer Natural Paint while renovating her own home, she was inspired by its sustainable, plant-based formulation and richly pigmented colours, and now works as one of our London-based Colour Consultants. Hannah’s approach is both intuitive and collaborative, creating timeless, welcoming interiors through thoughtfully balanced colour palettes that feel harmonious and considered. Particularly drawn to period properties and architectural detail, she enjoys using subtle tonal shifts and richer colours to bring warmth, depth and character to a home, helping clients create spaces that feel beautifully connected and uniquely their own. Sarah Batey Sarah Batey brings an artistic eye and a thoughtful, holistic approach to colour consultancy. Having studied painting at The Slade School of Fine Art and Central Saint Martins before working in commercial art galleries, she later built extensive experience developing colour schemes for homes through showroom, virtual and in-home consultations. Sarah believes every project should begin with an open mind, creating bespoke palettes that reflect each client’s personality while considering how colours connect and flow throughout the home. Katherina Saunders Katherina Saunders has spent her career working with colour and design, developing an instinctive understanding of how homes and the people who live in them belong together. She believes every room has its own personality and enjoys uncovering the colours that allow a space to feel balanced, comfortable and full of life. Whether transforming a room that has never quite worked or helping clients see familiar spaces in a new way, Katherina combines practical expertise with a natural intuition for colour, creating homes that feel as individual as the people who live in them. Emma Bulmer Emma Bulmer co-founded Edward Bulmer Natural Paint alongside Edward and played a pivotal role in developing both the colour range and the Colour Consultancy service. With decades of experience helping clients create beautiful, considered interiors, Emma believes the best consultations begin with listening – understanding not only how a client wants their home to look, but how they want to live in it. By carefully balancing the character of a space with the client’s vision, she creates palettes that feel harmonious, practical and full of personality. Emma particularly enjoys tackling challenging projects, finding creative solutions that unlock the potential of even the most difficult spaces and leave clients feeling confident in their decisions. Emily Ball Emily Ball combines a deep appreciation of art, architecture and decoration with a thoughtful, creative approach to colour consultancy. Having studied History of Art at The Courtauld Institute and spent the last four years immersed in the design community of Pimlico Road, she has developed a keen eye for how colour, light and furnishings work together. Emily believes the best interiors strike a balance between a client’s personal taste and the character of the space itself, often encouraging clients to embrace colours they may not have considered at first. Particularly inspired by period architecture, she enjoys creating schemes that feel distinctive, uplifting and full of personality, helping clients discover colours that bring out the very best in their homes.
