Welmish Blew

Sometimes an old name is a more attractive way to describe the effect of a colour very simply. A warmish blue is as useful and attractive as it sounds, a pale tone that relies on yellow ochre to warm up the black, white and blue pigments used in it’s make up. If you want to see how to use this beautiful shade turn to the work of Robert Kime and masters of his ilk! Like all our paints this versatile Blue is vegan, plastic-free and environmentally conscious.

I love this gorgeous, warmish blue from expert colourist Edward Bulmer, who is a true pioneer in the sustainable interior design industry.

How much paint do I need?

We have created this calculator to help you estimate the amount of paint you will need for your project. Please note that this is only an estimate, based on normal surfaces with two coats of paint.

Please check our practical painting advice - if you are painting onto a very absorbent surface, you may need more paint, and for best results, you may need to prime your surfaces.

If you end up with any leftover paint, get inspired with ways to use any excess paint - it's even compostable!

What are you painting?
