It is good practice to prime all new wood surfaces with Water Based Primer. Knots should be spot primed as well before main coat of Water Based Primer is applied. Water Based Primer is essential for use on all MDF and woods rich in active substances prior to application of water based eggshell or water based gloss paint.
Bleeding knots on bare wood should be pre treated with our Water Based Primer, apply 2 coats to prevent bleeding.
11-13m2 per litre on smooth surfaces at 70-90 µm wft. On rough or absorbent surfaces more primer may be required. Ready for use but may be diluted with max 5% water.

The A5 colour samples were very useful and the paint is a real pleasure to apply – no smell and the lighter colour covers even the dark red walls very well with the first coat. Also very impressed with the bamboo brushes – certainly the best I have used.
Love that pink!
I recently tried your paint, I am absolutely delighted and thrilled with the outcome in regards to colour & performance of your product.
