The Northern Light Palette by Jessica Buckley and Edward Bulmer Selected by Edinburgh interior designer Jessica Buckley the colours are chosen to be rich and enveloping so that even the most unpromising room can be completely transformed and a selection of twelve different hues means that there is the perfect blue, red, green, brown, yellow and even white, to suit. Working in houses in Scotland, Edward Bulmer had seen that the light could vary enormously with the weather, but that it had its own special character that reflected colours differently to those further south. The Northern Light Palette takes the guess work away from decorating rooms which don’t have the benefit of abundant natural light: north-facing rooms, basement rooms or any room where the quality of natural light is diffuse and cool.
