Water Based Eggshell for Interior Woodwork and Metal

Our Water-Based Eggshell paint has a smooth finish and is perfect for all indoor wood and metal surfaces, including radiators. It’s eco-friendly, solvent-free, non-yellowing, and can be thinned with water. Made with natural ingredients like plant oils, minerals, and natural pigments, it’s bound with an innovative semi-natural binder called Decovery.

We list all the ingredients used, and this paint is virtually VOC-free, giving it the lowest VOC rating of any eggshell paint.

It’s a great match for our natural emulsion wall paint, offering a rich, creamy look while being tough enough for everyday life. A gloss version is also available.

Please check our technical data sheets for advice on surface prep and priming.

How much paint do I need?

We have created this calculator to help you estimate the amount of paint you will need for your project. Please note that this is only an estimate, based on normal surfaces with two coats of paint.

Please check our practical painting advice - if you are painting onto a very absorbent surface, you may need more paint, and for best results, you may need to prime your surfaces.

If you end up with any leftover paint, get inspired with ways to use any excess paint - it's even compostable!

What are you painting?
