Trumpington on the walls at the Mondi Corsini pop up at Anthropologie, checkerboard fabric by Susie Atkinson, Art Direction by colour consultant Hannah Lawrence Welcome to the Chic & Conscious World of Mondo Corsini If you like us are forever searching for beautiful clothes made from natural materials then you may have already discovered the timeless designs by Mondo Corsini. From the pages of our favourite weekend supplements to the grids of fashion icon Laura Fantacci and sustainable champion Ginnie Chadwyck-Healey it is a brand that we have been coveting for some time. The fashion editors secret no more, we adore every piece in the collection, the ultimate breathable wardrobe this summer to take us from meetings to aperitivos on a terrazza! Mondo Corsini is committed to encouraging customers to “buy less, buy better” through creating pieces that form a versatile, timeless capsule wardrobe. Their latest Heroine Collection continues Mondo’s cult favourites whilst also introducing new designs aptly named after strong fictional female characters, embodying the brand’s values of empowerment, inclusivity, and positivity. We love every design and the inspiration behind the names, which as you know Edward is known for with our own colours. Mondo also repurposes vintage fabrics and materials to create amazing one-of-a-kind pieces and breathe new life into accessories, homeware, and fashion. We love that they draw inspiration from their travels and relish in rich history from around the world, just as we use natural earth and mineral pigments that have been used by artists for centuries. Mondo Corsini Heroine collection Mondo Corsini Heroine collection “We wanted to have a little fun in our Anthropologie pop-up this year, and the Edward Bulmer range of natural paints offered so many wonderful options. We couldn't resist Trumpington, which we think created a lovely backdrop for our Heroine collection and vintage furniture” Susan Corsini, founder We were delighted to see our ‘Trumpington’ paint featured in their recent pop-up shop at Anthropologie, accentuating the naturalness of the Mondo Corsini collection’s muted palette. The unrivalled depth of Trumpington can only be created with earth and mineral pigments, providing an earthy tobacco shade with a warm, rich feeling. Hannah Lawrence, one of our expert colour consultants, chose our earthy golden brown with some gorgeous hand-crafted brown checkerboard fabric by Susie Atkinson , used for the dressing-room curtains. This collection has an unrivalled and understated elegance, the effortlessly beautiful and sustainable designs made from only natural fabrics of pure linen and organic cotton were showcased effortlessly against our natural paint. Trumpington and the designs together creating an enduring aesthetic drawing us back to the calming tones of nature. Anthropologie pop-up on the Kings Road Trumpington is my new favourite natural neutral, offering just the right balance of a sophisticated, earthy colour that tones in beautifully providing a rich and warm backdrop. It is particularly lovely combined with the warmth of Spanish White, Indigo blue and deep burgundy and sits well with textured natural materials; wicker, rattan and jute. Hannah Lawrence, Colour Consultant EBNP Trumpington on the walls with Susie Atkinson checkerboard fabric Our expert colour consultant Hannah Lawrence chose our tobacco shade paired with Mondo Corisini's collection "An earthy tobacco shade can work really well in rooms you want to feel warm, rich and intriguing. It is a fabulous backdrop and can be used in a great variety of rooms. As with all our tones it is based on earth pigments and iron oxides. I tend to reserve the deepest hues to rooms that are usually artificially lit and probably used for relaxing or entertaining in. They are fantastic at providing a sophisticated backdrop to art and coloured furnishings." Edward Bulmer, founder EBNP See how this golden hue got its name here and order your sample pot. Like Edward Bulmer Natural Paint, Mondo Corsini strive to be transparent and accountable in their responsibility to our environment by using natural materials, no harsh chemical dyes, and planting a tree for every Mondo Corsini dress sold.
