Our Plaster Primer is a water-based, breathable primer made with natural ingredients and specially formulated to prepare fresh plaster, lime plaster, lining paper and areas with extensive filler before applying Edward Bulmer wall and ceiling paints.
Designed for absorbent surfaces, it helps create an even, consistent base for your chosen paint finish. Economical and easy to apply, the primer is diluted with water before use, making a little go a long way.
Please note: Not suitable for woodwork. For wooden surfaces, please use our Water-Based Wood Primer.
Application:Dilute the Plaster Primer 1:1 with clean water and stir thoroughly. Apply 1–2 coats by brush or spray, depending on the absorbency of the surface.
Coverage:Approximately 20m² per litre per coat after dilution, depending on the surface and application method.

Please check our practical painting advice - if you are painting onto a very absorbent surface, you may need more paint, and for best results, you may need to prime your surfaces.
