Economical and easy to apply, it’s ideal for use on lime plaster and other absorbent surfaces. (Not suitable for woodwork – please use our Water-Based Wood Primer instead.)
Application: Dilute the plaster primer 1:1 with clean water and stir thoroughly. Apply 1–2 coats by brush or spray, depending on surface absorbency.
Coverage: Approx. 20m² per litre per coat (after dilution), depending on surface and method.

I love the colour because it is so warm and charming, winter had our blue bedroom feeling cold and dreary, but the combination of Hespan, Red Ochre and Fine Green has turned the space into a cosy haven! It’s vibrant yet oh-so-snug, and I’m really enjoying spending time in the room again. It’s a statement colour which is still …
Edward mixed a warm grey blue for our new Entrance Hall with his natural paints. It worked perfectly with the woven paisley curtain fabric we had chosen. Better still these paints are much healthier than modern ones and kinder to allergy sufferers, which was important for us. Goodwood has a very particular character and Edward’s palette complimented the architecture, …
Our decorator decided to use it just in case, so not sure if we really needed it or not. And after being worried he wasn’t keen on our non-Dulux choice, (he told me he has only used natural paint (Auro) four times in forty years) he said he thought it was great, went on well and lovely …
Thank you for sending over your beautiful paint. It took me months to choose and I am happy I have chosen your paint. Painting is now in full progress and we already love the results. Even the professional painters who are mainly working on Heritage houses are impressed with the depth of the colour and easy …
When we moved into Hopetoun we were really keen to find colours that worked for our young family and the house. Your colours did this well and the paint was especially suitable as it is so breathable. The decorators loved the paint and said it was the best to apply they had used and no horrid paint smell was a real …

We have created this calculator to help you estimate the amount of paint you will need for your project. Please note that this is only an estimate, based on normal surfaces with two coats of paint.
Please check our practical painting advice - if you are painting onto a very absorbent surface, you may need more paint, and for best results, you may need to prime your surfaces.
If you end up with any leftover paint, get inspired with ways to use any excess paint - it's even compostable!

This estimate is based on two coats of paint and the dimensions of your room, minus the space taken by average doors and windows.
For this area, we suggest would be adequate.
Our water based eggshell or gloss is ideal for woodwork or metalwork.
This estimate is based on two coats of paint and the skirting and the doors/windows you told us about. 1 litre should cover 2-3 doors or 20m of skirting.
