There are three reasons I chose Edward Bulmer Natural Paint. First and foremost the fantastic range of colours, from the historically authentic to the more contemporary, meant that there was something fitting for every room in my cottage. Secondly, the paint’s true 'green' credentials were important and led onto the third benefit that painters like working with it.

Our Emulsion has a soft, matt finish with 2% sheen, perfect for your walls and ceilings. It has great coverage and can be applied evenly in just 2 coats. Works flawlessly over new, primed plaster. Sold in 2.5 and 5-litre tins
Our Water Based Eggshell has a satin finish with 30% sheen so still has a softness to it. Perfect for woodwork and metalwork this finish is easy to apply. Sold in 1 and 2.5-litre tins
Our Water Based Gloss is our highest satin product with an 80% sheen. This product is perfect for interior and exterior woodwork and metalwork with a durable finish. Sold in 1 and 2.5-litre tins

We have spent years perfecting our pioneering plant-based paints and we are proud of the product we have created using gentle chemistry and a lot of dedication to making a more sustainable paint! Unlike many other paint brands, what’s in our tins is on our tins! We declare all of our ingredients, read our full list of ingredients and learn more about how our paint is made.
We use our local courier service called APC which is based in Hereford. APC operates franchises throughout the country and we can deliver parcels throughout the UK on an overnight service.
We are not able to offer returns, as all of our paint is mixed to order and therefore is a bespoke product.
NB: We will accept returns of non bespoke products which include preparatory products.

To use this simple tool please add together the total wall lengths, so the parameter of the room which is the width measurement, then just one height measurement. This amount is based on coverage in 2 coats.
As a rough guide, 1 L of eggshell will cover 2-3 doors (both sides) and 1 L of eggshell will cover 20 metres of skirting board in min. 2 coats.
