Lighting up your Christmas

Porta Romana

Porta Romana began life in 1988 in a tiny London workshop. The ambition was to create beautiful and inspiring pieces that would be loved and good fortune came in finding skilled British craftspeople to create quirky and original designs. The Porta Romana style has continuously evolved to become a leading global brand and can be seen in the world’s most beautiful houses, yachts, hotels and movie sets. The company still work with many of their original artisans and continue to seek out new artistic talents.

The Duck Feet lamp, pictured,  is their most iconic piece. It was inspired by a visit to a surrealist exhibition, and we just love it, especially in its incredible feathered shade!

Rosi de Ruig

Based in her studio in West London, Rosi has been making these fabulous paper lampshades and colourful lamps since 2013. Each item is handmade from beautiful papers which she has sourced from around the world, making them truly individual. Her passion for design, pattern and colour shines through in to each lampshade she lovingly makes, creating the ideal gift for those who are looking for something a little bit unique. A designer's secret and favourite, we love them all, especially when paired up with our beautiful paint, seen here with 'Jonquil'.
