Work From Home! We are building our business from home and so how we work reflects how we live. We have spent 20 years restoring a beautiful Queen Anne house in Herefordshire which was literally falling down when we bought it. We have restored and, in some places, rebuilt it to the highest environmental standards. Our eldest daughter suffers from asthma and so we are mindful of the chemical toxins in many modern building materials. We converted an old cattle byer to create an office soon after we moved in. Indeed for a while it was far more habitable than the house! We have also restored our garden which had the remnants of an 18th century water garden beneath the undergrowth and we have a farm which we converted to organic in 1999. Edward finds great inspiration in working in the special Herefordshire landscape. What the Future Holds We have an exciting building project which is well underway which will be our new paint factory. A couple of years ago Edward restored an old Dutch Barn next to the current office buildings. As we have grown a lot since we first started mixing paint we need more space for our team and our paint ! Edward has designed and overseen the building process of the new factory making sure it is well insulated, functional and of course made from sustainable building materials. Watch this space !
